Contracts Administrator III

Job Description

The Contracts Administrator III serves as a key resource for preparing, examining, negotiating and revising contracts. This role requires an ability to facilitate, lead and coordinate contractual discussions and negotiations with prospects and clients as well as internal sales and finance staff, as well as the ability to align and manage contract structure with downstream billing and finance processes.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure contracts are consistent with management's goals, policies, and procedures

  • Handle the acquisition, distribution, and store of purchases

  • Assure that all clarifications and amendments of negotiations are incorporated into final contracts

  • Generate, maintain, and audit a central contract-resource file

  • Generate, maintain, and audit a contractual schedule of values across clients and reconcile monthly against actual billings

  • Maintain and track sales commission accruals and disbursements in accordance with client payment against contracts

  • Ensures that necessary procedural controls exist

  • Coach sales staff in contract formulation best-practices, and partner with sales and finance teams to manage and continuously improve the contract-to-payment process lifecycle

Preferred Requirements of Ideal Candidate
  • 4-6 years experience in a contracts administration role

  • Experience working with recurring revenue SaaS contracts is preferred

  • Ability to perform work under minimal supervision

  • Ability to handle complex issues and problems, and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff

  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter

  • Ability to provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group

  • Potential to act as a lead or first-level supervisor as company growth continues

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Organizational skills
