Data Analyst

Job Description

A Data Analyst serves as a key resource in customer service, internal support and the evolution of our core product, MCIM. This role requires an ability to work both independently and with a team to deliver high quality business intelligence for both Fulcrum and our clients. You will be expected to understand and support all aspects of the MCIM product, while being an internal expert on data related topics.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own the architecture, strategy and maintenance of the Tableau CRM platform in MCIM

  • Translate business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage either traditional

  • Salesforce Reporting or Tableau CRM Platform

  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure enhancements and projects are prioritized and executed as scheduled

  • Train users on Tableau CRM basics (Dashboards, Lens, and Apps)

  • Work with MCIM development team to understand the data architecture and build data flows, recipes, and data sets that meet business requirements

  • Develop, execute, and manage analytic roadmap for strategic alignment across departments

  • Stay ahead on all new Tableau CRM features with each new release

  • Work with clients to understand their business, data, and systems to deliver high value analytics

Preferred Requirements of Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in mathematics, economics, computer science, information management, statistics, or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years of professional work experience working with data integration, data science or data visualization

  • Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting data findings

  • Hands on experience in any one of these tools on database side: Oracle Sql/MySQL/MS SQLC

  • Experience with MS Access Database and preferred Proficient in SQL

  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design, data visualizations (i.e. Tableau)

  • Comfortable with learning new things or taking on new responsibilities as we expand into new verticals,

  • Integrate with new technologies or add new features to the product set

  • Strong experience in Excel

  • Strong Communication Skills & Presentation Skills

  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar Cloud SAAS platform a plus
