Senior Program Manager

  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ Years of project/program experience, including the setup, deployment, tracking, and completion of projects.

  • 5+ Years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment.

Job Description

We’re seeking a stellar Senior Program Manager at Fulcrum Collaborations, and their expertise in maximizing efficiency & customer adoption of our world class software platform.  Combining industry (critical facilities and real estate) knowledge, technology, analysis, and organizational skills, the Senior Program Manager will help our business and internal team compete and succeed in a complex and growing market sector.  Directing, defining, and coordinating program development are the key functions of the Senior Program Manager role.  

 

As Fulcrum Collaborations continues to grow and improve its flagship product (MCIM - Mission Critical Information Management), the Senior Program Manager will play a critical function in establishing objectives, developing requirements, planning schedules, and driving customer adoption of our product.  You will be involved in corporate strategic planning activities, and then utilize your skills and a process-based approach to achieve strategic goals through a combination of rapid sprints and newly established company process.    

Job Duties

Because of their dexterity and cross-functional skills, the Senior Program Manager will be responsible for guiding teams to deliver projects that span across one or more business units/customers.  Typical day-to-day job duties include;   

 

  • Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span multiple customers.

  • Provide local leadership to the Operations Team by building skills and engaging team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones. 

  • Full product life cycle ownership; successful delivery includes full implementation from initiation to deployment, often for multiple concurrent initiatives.

  • Ensure that projects and initiatives are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.   

  • Report on project success criteria, metrics, test, and deployment management activities.

  • Bring both creativity and an analytical mindset to a problem solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence. 

  • Lead the operations team in establishing internal business practices, templates, policies, and tools to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.

  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and communicate them effectively across the organization.

  • Establish practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.

  • Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address customer goals, while still maintaining alignment with the company vision and industry best practices.

  • Manage ongoing quality control, participate in quality issue resolution, and assist in dispute/negotiation as needed. 

  • Identify and develop trusted advisor relationships with the internal team, and with client program owners and stakeholders.

  • Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise the Operations Team.

  • Strong leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations. 

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a fast-paced environment; demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships by engaging business leaders to establish credibility, solve problems, and build consensus to achieve objectives.

  • Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.  Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrated communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences. 

  • Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to changing and competing demands.

  • Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule, and within budget completion. 

  • Ability to learn new programs and technologies, and then rapidly apply them.
